What is it?

CYBER is a program of St. John’s Lutheran Church - Youth & Family Ministry.  CYBER is designed to build a sense of community within the confirmation students by adding required service and group activities (for 7th & 8th grades) to the existing confirmation program.  The goal of CYBER is to assist people in growing together and sharing their faith in Christ, through words and actions, to each other and their community.

The CYBER program is broken into two distinct parts.

CYBER Group: activities that build Christ centered relationships between students through fellowship activities. These events are scheduled through out the year and students are asked to attend four of these events by the end of their 8th grade year.

CYBER Service: activities that encouraged a Christ like attitude of putting others first, being humble and serving others. These events are scheduled through out the year and students are asked to participate in Six of these events by the end of their 8th grade year.

Students are asked to complete a Medical release form with copy of insurance card, once a year and a permission slip form for every event. Friends that attend these events also need a signed permission slip form.
