Music is an integral part of the St. John family – and the St. John worship experience. We would love to have you consider:
Senior Choir…….. Senior Choir involves both men and women of high-school age and up that would like to use their voice to help lead in Traditional Worship. This group usually sings about two times a month within the worship services from early September through the end of May. Rehearsal time is 7:00pm Thursday evenings. If you enjoy using your voice to Praise the Lord this is the group for you!
Children’s Music……..Kelly Thole, Director Children are a vital part of the worship life here at St. John’s Lutheran Church. For children ages three through fourth grade, there is singing and other interactive learning each week. This group meets each Sunday morning at 9:10am, and the children typically sing once a month during the worship services.
Hand Bell Choir……..Ashley Elsen, Director The handbell choir participates in worship playing sacred pieces of music to enhance the worship service. This is an adult handbell ensemble that rehearses Monday evenings from 6:00pm. We also have a youth handbell choir for beginners that takes place on Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm.
If you are unable to join any of the above groups, but have a love for music, and the desire to participate in the music of St. John’s, please contact the church office. There are always opportunities for soloists, instrumentalists, and ensembles.
