You are invited to join us for a Sunday School Celebration. On April 28th Preschool- 4th grade Sunday School classes are going to take over the 10:30 service and we would love to have your student and family join us!
Why should Christmas be the only time the kids share songs, scriptures and all the fun we have at Sunday School? This service will be a chance for us to do just that!
From the songs we will sing, to the prayers and verses we have learned through the year, this service will be our Sunday School Celebration! No need to rehearse just join us for as many Sunday mornings as you can between now and the 28th! Please let your child teacher know if they will not be attending this special service so we can plan parts accordingly.
Preschool & Kindergarten: These students will have a class song they will sing.
1st-4th grade classes: These class will be leading prayers or reading scripture and also have a class song.
Calling all kids! Join us May 5th as we kick off the summer Bible reading program ” Bible Buddy Pets Unleashed – Where Jesus cares Fur you!” This is a morning you won’t want to miss!
During this event kids will …
- Choose a furry fun stuffed animal to spend the summer with, complete a certificate, pick up a summer reading guide, and so much more!
- Kids are encouraged to take their buddy on an adventure through God’s word and wherever the summer leads them as they use our summer reading program.
- Throughout the summer kids can complete challenges with their buddy to earn prizes.
Not able to make the event? No worries! Buddies will be available throughout the summer.

Swing into summer fun! Beginning in June, meet up with your St. John’s friends (and make some new ones!) at Park & Play. The group will meet at different parks in the area a couple times a month at 9:30 AM. Register online to receive the schedule and share your favorite park. Once locations are chosen, you’ll receive an email with the schedule as well as a text message the night before.

Get ready to dive into friendship and fun at VBS this summer!
July 29th– Aug. 1st 9:00am-11:30am
Take kids deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. Kids from age 3 through 4th grade will have a great time singing, watching skits, creating crafts and playing games. SCUBA VBS is filled with incredible Bible learning experiences that kids see, hear, touch and even taste! Kids will love God like never before. Serve God like never before and have the time of their lives doing it!

First Faith Steps Class
Who: A parent & child Sunday school class for children birth-3 year’s old.
When: Beginning September 12th thru the December and March thru May 1st.
Time: 9:15-10:10
Join other parents as you and your child sing songs and actively experience bible stories. We hope to help you network with other parents, and equip you with tools and tips to bring the faith home. Come for one Sunday or come for them all, you are always welcome to join in the fun!

Sunday School Mission Project
Each month a new mission project is select for a Sunday School Offering Project. The money collected in children’s and Sunday school offering will go to this project, organization or mission. Some of the organizations we support are local food shelf, Feed My Starving Children and more.
Milestones
Faith Milestones are all about helping children, families and adults see God in their everyday! We take common events or moments in our lives and the lives of our children to celebrate and ask God to bless them, guide them and be with them. We hope to equip and encourage our families to see that being with God is more than just something we do on Sunday, but that God is a part of our everyday. No matter if we are celebrating the beginning of school, learning something new or welcoming them into the family of God…all these moments are God moments.

Kid Connection Child Care
Our nursery is equipped for infants thru 4 years old. Need a quite place for to change diapers, breastfeed or rock you little one to sleep? Please be sure to check out our infant room filled with age appropriate toys, extra diapers in case of little accidents and much more for parents needs.
