Bricktacular | Family Easter Lego Event
Join us for an evening of fun and activities all centered around the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection in the Fellowship Hall, Friday, April 11th at 6pm.
Kids and adults of all ages will get a chance to experience the Easter story in a hands on way using legos to demonstrate the story. From games, stories, music, crafts there is something for everyone!
The Passion Week journey to the cross began with the crowds shouting “Hosanna! Hosanna to the Son of David!” and laying their cloaks down in front of Jesus as He rode a colt into Jerusalem.
Palm Sunday Services are at regular times: Saturday at 5 pm, Sunday 8 & 10:30 am.
Journey to the Cross Family Easter Event will be from 9 – 10:30 am in the Family Life Center.
Jews for Jesus Missionary, Simon Stout, will lead us in a congregational Seder Meal on Tuesday, April 15th at 7:30pm. This will be an exploration of Passover & the Last Supper and how it applies to our own experience of Communion! Please note – this will be a tasting of the traditional Passover foods, not a full meal. What a special addition to the Holy Week Festivities!
Maundy Thursday commemorates the night when Jesus washed His disciples feet, giving them the mandate to “love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34). He also celebrated the Passover meal with His disciples, instituting the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. After supper He went to the Garden of Gethsemane where he anguished in prayer before His betrayal.
Join us for this Communion service at 6pm Thursday evening as part of our journey through Holy Week towards the Cross and the Resurrection.
Good Friday marks the day when Jesus carried his cross up the hill to Golgotha and was hung upon it, carrying and paying for the sins of the entire world as the Lamb of God.
“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
Join us at 12 noon for a meditative service focusing on the passion of Christ. (There is not a message at this service, just a reading through the passion account with time for reflection and hymns.)
At 6pm there will be a Tenebrae Service where the elders will share reflections on the seven last words of Christ as we walk through His passion.

Saturday at 5 pm with contemporary music (in the sanctuary)
Sunday worship services at 7, 9, & 11 am!
The Worship Choir and Gospel Ringers hand bell choir will enhance worship at both the 9 & 11 am services. The Sat 5pm services uses contemporary worship music. All 3 services on Sunday will use traditional hymns with organ and brass.
Easter breakfast will be served by the youth downstairs in the Fellowship Hall from 7:30 – 10:30 am for a freewill offering which will support their summer trip to the LCMS Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
