Jr. High Camp Omega Servant Event 2026
August 10, 2026
- August 12, 2026

Our Jr. High (incoming 2026-2027 6th-8th grade) youth are invited to go on a special trip to Camp Omega for fun camp activities, Bible study, and service projects around camp. This trip is meant to introduce youth to the idea of a mission trip and going somewhere to use our time and talents to serve God and our neighbors! Our theme this year will be "Who is God?" as we look at the various attributes of God and where we see them in Scripture and in the world.
Cost of the trip to student/family is $150. Registration fee is due July 26th. You can pay with debit or credit through this form or select cash/check to drop off cash or a check (please write Jr. High Camp Omega on memo line) at church.
We do need help with drivers and chaperones. Select driver if you are able to help drive to Camp Omega and pick-up on Wednesday. Select adult chaperone (in addition to parent driver if you can drive a vehicle) if you are willing to stay the few days and help with service projects and care for the youth. Chaperones will have a background check done before being able to go on the trip. We do have a few spots for high school youth to help. Youth must discuss going on the trip with Paul before registering. Chaperones and high school helpers do not pay for this trip.
A scholarship is available for families that would like help covering 50% of the cost. To receive the scholarship, register like normal and fill out this form and Paul will apply the scholarship: https://stjohnsbuffalo.churchcenter.com/people/forms/1196183
There will be a fundraiser to help offset costs for the trip on Saturday, June 27th at Coborn's for a Community Cook-Out. We will be selling hot dogs and brats from 11 am-5 pm! Participants are encouraged to sign up if they can help here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F44AFA623A1F5C16-62731546-jrhigh
We plan to leave by 7 am Monday, August 10th and aim to be back around 3:30 pm on Wednesday, August 12th.
