Mission

In the name of our triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Noah’s Ark Preschool exists to give glory to God in obedience to His command of diligently teaching the word of God to our children. (Deut 6:7).

Objectives

The preschool environment is culturally based on each child’s individuality with indoor and outdoor activities and materials to meet the varied development levels. Areas include: construction, dramatic play, art, ponder play, science, learning, music, literature and physical development.

Purpose and Philosophy

·       We value families with small children that have a strong desire for Christian Education.

·       We believe that this school is a part of the church and shares the duty of teaching the love of God through Jesus Christ our Savior.

·       We believe in developing the child spiritually, physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially.

·       We believe in adhering to spiritual guidance, in addition to meeting state requirements.

·       We are a Lutheran preschool and will operate with the combined support of both St. John’s and Hosanna Lutheran Churches.

Activities for Development

Opportunities are provided for the children to play and learn with other children. Parents are encouraged to be actively involved in their child’s preschool experience. Social skills, self-help skills and group interactions are areas of development, identified by the teacher and helpful in the preparation for kindergarten.

Parent Conferences

Regular conferences will be held with each parent. A pre-enrollment conference will make the parents aware of the policies and procedures of Noah’s Ark Preschool.

Who May Attend

Children that are 3-years-old as of September 1^st are eligible to attend Noah’s Ark Preschool. Each class is limited to 20 pupils by our license under rule #3. We do NOT discriminate against any child due to race, gender, or religious background. Children will have proper supervision at all times according to rule #3.
