Ash Wednesday: February 27 at 6pm

Join us as we kick off our Lenten series: Sweatin’ Off the Old You as Buff Slimmin’s helps us learn to apply 1 Peter 2:1-3 “Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 2Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.”

We will also practice the Imposition of Ashes as we reflect on the truth that we were made from dust, and to dust we shall return.

The service will be live-streamed.

Wednesdays in Lent: 6pm

Each Wednesday during Lent (through April 6) we will have service in the sanctuary at 6pm.  We will also have supper downstairs at 5pm.

Each week Buff Slimmins will help us  through his class “Sweatin’ Off the Old You” to learn to apply another aspect of 1 Peter 2:1-3 “Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 2Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.”

Palm Sunday: April 1 & 2

We will celebrate Palm Sunday at our Saturday evening service and both Sunday morning services. The 8am service will be live-streamed.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week as we journey with Jesus to the cross and ultimately His Resurrection.  On Palm Sunday, we remember the day Jesus was welcomed into Jerusalem riding on the back of a donkey while people waved palm branches and shouted “Hosanna!”.

The Great Surprise Family Event: Sunday April 2 at 9am

Join us for a morning of fun and activities all centered around the celebration of Easter.

Kids and adults of all ages will get a chance to experience the Easter story in a hands on way. From games, stories, music, crafts and even service opportunities, there is something for everyone!

Families are invited to travel from different stations through out the morning. There is no cost, but we encourage everyone to invite a friend and bring the family for this morning of fun.

Maundy Thursday: April 6 at 6pm

Maundy Thursday Worship during Holy Week commemorates the night when Jesus washed His disciples feet, giving them the mandate to “love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34).  He also celebrated the Passover meal with His disciples, instituting the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.  After supper He went to the Garden of Gethsemane where he anguished in prayer before His betrayal.

Join us for this Communion service at 6pm Thursday evening as part of our journey through Holy Week towards the Cross and the Resurrection.

Good Friday: April 7 at 12 noon & 6 pm

Join us at 12 noon for a small meditative service focusing on the passion of Christ.

At 6pm we will have a Tenebrae Service.  Our elders will share reflections on the seven last words of Christ as we walk through His passion.

Good Friday marks the day when Jesus carried his cross up the hill to Golgotha and was hung upon it, carrying and paying for the sins of the entire world as the Lamb of God.

“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
